About Extrusion Billets / Cylinders
Extrusion billets — known in Venezuela as cilindros — are round logs of aluminum alloy cast for extrusion presses. Pushed through a die, they become window and door profiles, structural sections, heat sinks and countless industrial shapes.
Extruders specify alloy, diameter, length and homogenization, because they determine press speed, surface finish and mechanical properties.
