About Rebar
Reinforcing bar is hot-rolled steel bar with surface deformations that bond it to concrete. It is the backbone of buildings, bridges, foundations and infrastructure.
Rebar must comply with the structural standard of the country where it will be used — for example ASTM in the United States or BS/EN in many other markets — so grade, diameters, lengths and mechanical properties are confirmed against the project’s specification.
Typical applications
- Residential and commercial construction
- Bridges, foundations and civil infrastructure
- Precast concrete and mesh fabrication
